The Classic Tour

As India is such a diverse country, this tour -The Classic Tour – is designed to whet
your appetite and show you some of the most grand and beautiful attractions for which India is renowned. Experience the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan Delhi; gaze in wonder at the intricate Taj Mahal in Agra; and be fascinated by the beauty of the “Pink City” of Jaipur and the Amber Fort.

DAY ONE: Delhi – Jaipur

This morning you will be driven from Delhi to Jaipur – The Pink City. On arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the day at leisure, exploring the rich heritage and culture of Jaipur.

DAY TWO: Jaipur

Today you will be driven just outside Jaipur to the ancient capital of Amber where an elephant (or alternatively a jeep) will carry you up to the 17th century Amber Fort, where you can stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. Continue your city sightseeing tour by visiting the intricate ‘Palace of Winds’ (Hawa Mahal), the City Palace and the Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory). On completion, you have an opportunity to wander through the local markets before returning to your hotel for your overnight stay.

DAY THREE: Jaipur – Agra

This morning you will be driven from Jaipur to Agra, visiting the deserted red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri en-route. After your visit, you will stop for lunch and continue on to Agra, where you will check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

DAY FOUR: Agra

At daybreak, you will be picked up by “horse and carriage” and dropped off at the Taj Mahal gates, for a sunrise tour. Following the tour, you will return to your hotel for a buffet breakfast. After which you will visit the historic Agra Fort, and the Itmad-Ud-Daulah, the beautiful pure marble tomb of Mirza Ghlyas Beg. Rest of the afternoon is for you to spend at leisure.

DAY FIVE: Jaipur – Delhi – Varanasi

Early this morning you will be driven from Agra to Delhi domestic airport for your onward flight to Varanasi – a city of inherent charm. On arrival in Varanasi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening at your leisure and overnight at your hotel.

DAY SIX: Varanasi

At daybreak, you will be taken for a boat ride on the holy river Ganges to see the various Ghats. Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will enjoy a city tour of Varanasi, visiting Vishwanath Temple, the Banaras Hindu University and the Bharat Mata Temple.

DAY SEVEN: End of Tour

After a relaxed breakfast this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
